[edit]

Hi! Thank you for your feedback, I added some citations. At the bottom of the article. My page is scheduled for deletion. I'm not sure if you can change that? I'm new to wikipedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sam.beckhorn (talkcontribs) 04:46, 13 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Sam.beckhorn - I'll have a look and reply on your talkpage. (NB - just for future reference, please put any messages at the bottom of people's talk-pages, or use the New Section option at the top of the page. It helps me find where you've posted the message rather than having to search the page for it. Thanks.) LouiseS1979 (pigeonhole) 07:18, 13 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The article is undergoing a GA reassessment. Would you like to conduct a thorough copyedit on the "Plot" and "Release" sections? Ssven2 speak 2 me 06:37, 14 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Ssven2 - of course I will. Give me the weekend, as doing stuff like that during the week is a little awkward. But yeah, quite happy to do it :). Thanks for the request. LouiseS1979 (pigeonhole) 07:17, 14 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Ssven2: - done a few edits to the page. I might have a look over it again at some point if you need me to. LouiseS1979 (pigeonhole) 14:06, 17 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! Would you mind if I ask why Gemini (2002 Tamil film) is still listed under "Working" in your userpage, while you have abandoned the c/e long ago? -- Sriram speak up 16:28, 17 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Sriram - sorry about that. It's a 'to-do' list - I intended to complete it, but I haven't got round to it, so I should really remove it. Sorry about that. LouiseS1979 (pigeonhole) 18:17, 17 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Apology accepted. Btw, I just strayed to your userpage to make a c/e request. This list is at FLC. Can you c/e its lead section? It shouldn't take too much time since there is only the lead which is in text. Btw, if you can, pls. do take a glance at a few existing featured lists before starting the c/e. Thanks. -- Sriram speak up 13:50, 18 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, no problem, Sriram. LouiseS1979 (pigeonhole) 13:54, 18 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. Mind if I suggest a few FLs which I took as a reference and on which I have modelled it? -- Sriram speak up 14:07, 18 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
In my opinion, the prose is pretty good. But, I feel that at a feel places, the sentences look disjointed as there is missing continuity between the first sentence and the second. Pls. look into it while doing the c/e. Btw, don't remove any sentences as the review is already happening. Thanks again. -- Sriram speak up 14:18, 18 January 2015

Please do, Sriram. LouiseS1979 (pigeonhole) 17:56, 18 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello maam! I took a couple days off wikipedia and came back hoping that you would have completed the c/e by now, but that wasn't to be. So, when can I expect it to be done? -- Sriram speak up 13:45, 20 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Sriram - I have a day off tomorrow; this is something that needs a little bit more attention than I can give it during the working week. I can fix it then, but do you have the FLs you were going to suggest I looked at? LouiseS1979 (pigeonhole) 19:16, 20 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I do. Shah Rukh Khan filmography, Aamir Khan filmography and Jake Gyllenhaal filmography are the FLs I took as reference for modelling the lead. If there are any confusions or clarifications necessary, feel free to ask me. Thanks. -- Sriram speak up 19:23, 20 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Sriram Vikram: Excellent - thanks. LouiseS1979 (pigeonhole) 19:28, 20 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the c/e. Btw, was the last two sentences, on a film titled David, clear and precise? Coz, one of the FLC's reviewers said that it lacked clarity and he couldn't make sense out of it! -- Sriram speak up 17:04, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Sriram Vikram: - let me have a look. LouiseS1979 (pigeonhole) 17:10, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Sriram Vikram: - the sentence about David reads fine to me, but if you wanted to, you could just say, 'in [the film], he played an alcoholic fisherman'. LouiseS1979 (pigeonhole) 17:16, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Well, if a native speaker of English can make sense out of it, then he should be able to too. Btw, he pointed out that the problem was with the last sentence. To be doubly sure before I confront him about it, can you take a look at the FLC and search for the term "narrative"? Take a look at his concern and maybe you can figure out a better way to phrase them. Sorry for the trouble. -- Sriram speak up 17:24, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Sriram Vikram: Actually, I see that point. I think what Krimuk90 is saying is that phrase is slightly awkward, not that it is unclear what it means. Let me have a think.
How does: 'When released in Tamil as a two-story film, the storyline featuring Vikram and co-stars Tabu and Isha Sharvani was taken directly from the original and just dubbed into the new language. The other plotline was remade specifically for the Tamil film' read? It explains the situation a bit more clearly. LouiseS1979 (pigeonhole) 17:45, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
That reads too long. Any other way to make it simpler? -- Sriram speak up 17:52, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Btw, you don't have to ping me every time for I have watch-listed your talk page. -- Sriram speak up 17:55, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Good stuff about the ping. I have skimmed the article about the Tamil film to see how it was handled there, but it wasn't made explicit that material was taken from the Hindi film and dubbed into Tamil. I'm not sure of a good compromise on making it clear what happened with the Tamil version of David without it being that length, since it's a complicated thing to be discussing. Does it need to be in there at all? LouiseS1979 (pigeonhole) 18:00, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Yes. While it isn't necessary to explicitly state that the second narrative was remade with cast changes, it needs to be said that his (Vikram's) part was dubbed, considering that it is his filmography. FYI, the last ref. in the lead states that it was dubbed. -- Sriram speak up 18:07, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
How about this for the second sentence? "Released as a Hindi-Tamil bilingual, Vikram's storyline co-starring Tabu and Isha Sharvani was originally filmed in Hindi and dubbed into Tamil". Leaving out the part that the Tamil version had only two narratives. -- Sriram speak up 18:12, 21 January 2015

OK, that's a good start. 'Released as a bilingual Hindi-Tamil film, Vikram's storyline was originally filmed in Hindi and dubbed into Tamil' is definitely simpler, and I've re-arranged it slightly to conform to English style. I know it leaves out the co-stars, but they're not the focus of the article. Thoughts? LouiseS1979 (pigeonhole) 18:15, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Sure sounds good and that's a green from me. Though personally, I would want them to be mentioned too. -- Sriram speak up 18:22, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I think it complicates the sentence for minimal gain. I'm not sure they belong in the lead of Vikram's article. BTW I am going out fairly soon and won't be back in time to discuss this further tonight, but I have tomorrow and Friday off as well so we can discuss this further then. (Also, regarding David (2013 Tamil film) (and the corresponding article on the Hindi film) the leads only mention that it was shot simultaneously in Hindi and Tamil, rather than Vikram's parts being dubbed into Tamil.) Speak to you again soon :) - good luck with the c/e. LouiseS1979 (pigeonhole) 18:28, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Well, Vikram himself revealed in an interview that he wasn't aware that the film was being made in Tamil and that the makers dubbed his portions into Tamil without his knowledge!! Anyway, if need be, we'll discuss it later. Thanks for your time. -- Sriram speak up 18:33, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

JCT600

[edit]

Hi Louise,

Would it be possible to contact me regarding the JCT600 page I have recently created - it is up for 'speedy deletion' and you have cited 'no use of reliable, independent sources' - not sure how reliable and independent sources are 'selected' as there are references to a number of web articles that are clearly independent of JCT600, and the informative content is the only content that has been cited on the official JCT600 website.

Thanks TomTgpickup13 (talk) 10:46, 16 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Tgpickup13 - I left a couple of explanations on your talk page as to why I think the article appears to me to be an advertisement. Basically, the negative press is hidden beneath all the glowing adjectives you use to describe the company, and a list of products that the company offers only compounds the appearance as an advert. If you put some criticism in there as sources/references, you need to discuss that criticism in the body of the text, and remove all the 'peacock' terms you've used to describe the company. At the moment, it just doesn't look like you were wanting to do anything other than advertise.
Thanks for getting in touch, though. Perhaps you could redraft the actual text to be a little more objective and submit it to WP:AFC for review. LouiseS1979 (pigeonhole) 10:51, 16 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Louise,

I am slightly confused - obviously new to this. I don't see how removing 'glowing' terms (if you could please point these out? :-)) and adding 'criticism' would neutralise the article. In my mind that is swinging the article the opposite way in terms of slandering the company? Or did you mean to either remove the glowing terms or add criticism of the company?

I've been an avid user of Wikipedia for years and have never seen criticism of companies/individuals on an article.

If you could please advise it would be fantastic, for both the article and my future reference for editing/creating on Wiki!

Thanks,

Tom

Tgpickup13 (talk) 10:52, 16 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Tgpickup13 - apologies for having to leave you this morning. (NB - you don't need a new heading for each comment. It's easier just to indent a reply in the same thread as before.) It was rather awkward, but my computer battery was low and in any event I had to leave for work. Basically, there are ways to criticise a company without the article seeming to swing between positive and negative language. Corporate articles (see e.g. McDonalds) usually have sections which detail criticism of the company from reliable sources without problem. The biography of Peter Vardy also contains issues such as his setting up schools which allegedly teach Creationism. So if you have a look at some other articles of both major and minor companies, I think you will find that many do have criticism sections.
As the article has been improved beyond what it was when I tagged it, and I don't have a lot of time right now, I'll give it a further copy-edit tomorrow (assuming it's not deleted in the mean time by someone else) because I'm not free to do it this evening. In the mean time, basically, take a look at the WP:PEACOCK policy, and look over the language you originally used to describe the company's history. 'Not all plain-sailing' is journalistic rather than encyclopaedic language; some other aspects of your original prose made me think this way. As you explain, that was not your intention, but from my perspective, the appearance of a new article is what matters, because I can't read the intention of the original creator, but equally, we can't leave articles which look like advertising live for very long (and if not me, then someone else: Becky Sayles replaced the speedy tag after you'd removed it, although other people can remove tags if they think they have been wrongly applied).
Writing an article here is a complex task; I am more of a copy-editor than a content creator, but it's important to learn the nuances of writing for Wikipedia because unfortunately, new page patrol has become very strict over recent years and so new articles are subjected to heightened scrutiny, moreso than articles which have been in the encyclopaedia for a long time. (This is why I suggest using WP:Articles for Creation to get some feedback on new work before it is moved into the main encyclopaedic space.)
I hope this is a clear explanation, and not too long-winded. If you would like further advice, the WP:TEAHOUSE forum is far and away the best place to get it. LouiseS1979 (pigeonhole) 18:54, 16 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Reviewing and copy-editing

Thank you again for copy-editing Greek units of measurement. You are always encouraging me.  :) Shevonsilva (talk) 12:02, 19 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I wonder why you continue to need to do so much copy-editing: our numerous comments seem to fall on deaf ears (eg my suggestion/request to link to the online copy of the source cited when it is freely available, discarded with some garbled idea about online links going out of date). Italian_units_of_measurement#Capacity_2 This section is a particularly awful recent example of non-reader-friendliness. I admire your patience and tenacity in cleaning up this stream of articles. Thank you. PamD 11:38, 22 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, Pam. I just do it in my spare time. But yeah, there's a slight awkwardness with Shevonsilva sometimes: I come across their work in New Page Patrol and work on it when I see it come through, and they do seem to need a lot of the same things doing from time to time. LouiseS1979 (pigeonhole) 11:45, 22 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I've added URLs to the source in Italian units of measurement and it would be nice to think she'd see how to make the article more useful - but she just seems determined to churn out more and more of this stuff. Good luck. I might just take her off my watch list for the good of my blood pressure, but I hate to see the encyclopedia messed up by lunreadable stuff. Makes a change from Indian villages, I suppose. (I stub-sort, which is where I come across all sorts of rubbish from mostly-well-intentioned new editors, many of whom are willing to learn). PamD 11:56, 22 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah...new page patrol has all those issues as well. At least I learn a lot doing this. LouiseS1979 (pigeonhole) 12:11, 22 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

PRNews

[edit]

I didn't know this was not considered acceptable as a source. I happened to remember that it was Liberty Media where I used it first. I did a search and found an alternative source for one possibly controversial addition to the article. As for another use of the source, I did find something which borders on promotional and so far have not found an alternative source to use. I was trying to deal with a very complicated situation involving name changes and subsidiaries, and I'd appreciate someone taking a look at what I did to see if the information can still be used. For the simple name change, my opinion is we may still be all right. But I felt it was a good idea to state just what the subsidiary did, which unfortunately I have not found in an independent source.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 18:07, 9 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Vchimpanzee: - The instance I critiqued on the WP:TEAHOUSE was that the particular article cited didn't rise much above a non-independent corporate puff piece for a borderline notable company (it looked to me like a press release that had just been written up, something that doesn't prove notability because it's not independent). If you can justify using a source elsewhere, then I'm not going to tell you what to do. As always, you should analyse the provenance of the article and whether or not it is independent enough to source an article properly, or whether you should restrict yourself to using the source to reference uncontroversial facts. (And it was PRweb that the source came from, not PRnews.) LouiseS1979 (pigeonhole) 19:24, 9 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Vchimpanzee: Looking at Liberty Media, the company is different - it's not PRNewswire I had a problem with it, it's PRWeb. Both site s appear to distribute corporate press releases - these are fine IIRC for sourcing uncontroversial facts as I said above, but not really useful for establishing notability or using as independent sourcing for that purpose (which is what I was critiquing in the Teahouse: the OP had a lot of sources but they were nearly all to passing mentions of the company or releases put out by the company itself uploaded to PRWeb). The sites look like they allow companies a direct mouthpiece rather than are independent corporate news outlets with editorial control, necessary for a source to be reliable and to prove notability.
In any event, you need to analyse the source carefully for whether it could be considered reliable or not. It's possible for otherwise reliable sources to be used inappropriately - for example from reading various discussions, I hear Forbes.com is used regularly as a reliable source but some of its articles are not considered reliable. You're right in that PR sources can be used to verify facts, but I wouldn't suggest a new editor like those who come into the teahouse use them to prove their company is notable in the absence of other significant coverage. LouiseS1979 (pigeonhole) 19:36, 9 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. I'm not absolutely positive the source is justified in my case but I'll try to do better. I knew PRNewswire wasn't PRWeb but like you said, they do the same thing.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 19:46, 9 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Vchimpanzee: - OK, no problems. I'm sorry to get a bit terse - I'm just a little stressed out IRL at the moment and it showed a bit in my answers. And I've seen you around and think you probably know your stuff well - I have read a lot but not been actively editing for that long. Hi. In general you should check out Referencing for Beginners for assistance with coding citations. Specifically, I'm not sure which article you are referring to since you haven't logged in, but have a close look at the guidelines on reliable sourcing. Next time you write an article it might be a good idea to draft an article in your sandbox in order to make sure it's well enough sourced to survive introduction into the encyclopaedia. Hi Lstanley1979, i'm looking for a small favor from an AFC editor, and not long ago you approved an AFC submission of mine (and your page suggests you're active / not on vacation as another past AFC approver on my page is). As indicated at my Talk page User:Doncram#re problems with redirect and within an ongoing RFD, there's a problem--an error message about AFC approval needed--for one or more persons in seeing/accessing a soft redirect page, wp:kaffeeklatsch. The RFD is at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2015 February 12. I set up the soft redirect, and I have deficient account status without autopatrol and/or some other user rights. And apparently the error message (which I don't see) is that the page requires an AFC approval. Could you please patrol it and give it any approval needed? It's just a redirect. And it is under discussion, will be kept or deleted as part of the RFD. To serve the discussion, it should work properly, and hopefully some approval will settle this one side problem. Hopefully, sincerely, cheers --doncram 03:26, 14 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Doncram. Sorry for the delay - I'm in the UK, so was fast asleep when you posted this. I can't access the AFC tools there so I'm not sure what I can do.
Regarding the subject, I saw the MfD but was unable to vote in time. Personally, I'm neutral on the Kaffeeklatsch - I prefer to edit in all spaces without drawing attention to my gender even though I'm an out woman, because I'm uneasy with the gender essentialism of some of the projects for women editors on Wikipedia (not necessarily improving general representation but people assuming that women are only interested in things like women's studies and women's biographies etc - I am, but I'm more interested in a breadth of topics or what's put before me at AFC and NPP, and I'd like for more women to get involved in the encyclopaedia as a whole rather than create ghettos) - but I don't want to tread on any toes either way, so I'm staying out of the various debates around it. I'm not as opposed as Karanacs is on principle (I thought a bit about commenting on the MfD but thought 'nah, whatever, so long as it keeps the drama in one place', and when I did go back to put my 2-pennyworth in, it had finished), but I'm a little queasy about the assumptions Lightbreather makes about my interests as a woman and would like to remain with cross-gender projects such as the Teahouse (which IIRC was set up by two women and seems to have succeeded in staying friendly and helpful). Being an out woman really isn't all that bad from my perspective.
I wish you luck, sorting this issue out, however. Sorry to be a bit of a sceptic; however, I don't want to nail my colours to the mast in public because I really don't mind either way whether it stays or not and am not opposed, I just don't feel like participating very much. LouiseS1979 (pigeonhole) 09:52, 14 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
thanks, no problem. --doncram 13:23, 14 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Doncram: Hey, good luck though. Despite my concerns it's nice at least to see it reasonably active. LouiseS1979 (pigeonhole) 13:53, 14 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, whatever the problem was, went away for that editor, when they changed some preference settings in their account. Thanks again.
Hey, I see you are active at the Teahouse, which i never explored, though i have been an editor for a long time. I don't know how I came across an article that was asked about there, and i tried to help out a little bit. It seems like a very good initiative, with a nice environment. Glad you and others are doing that, keep up the good work! cheers, --doncram 17:33, 15 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Doncram: - Good to hear you got it sorted.
Yeah, the Teahouse is nice. It was IIRC started by Heather Walls and Sarah Stierch with the aim of editor retention and promoting a friendlier atmos, and I don't think it was coincidental that they were both women trying to do something about the concerns over gender imbalance too. I'm not sure whether it's worked, but it's easier to get into it as a host than the help desk or ANI. And, definitely, Wikipedia's backstage areas are so large that it takes a long time to probe them. LouiseS1979 (pigeonhole) 18:53, 15 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi.

Sorry it took me so long but I was trying to find the places I had found before. I wasn't able to find them all, but included what I have found so far. Many of these are very small but they do in my opinion show notability. Not sure by Wikipedia standards though. This is very important to me and a couple of mutual friends who do a radio program with him once a week. This started as a request / announcement on the radio so that's part of the reason it's important to us. He isn't notable here in the US but he is pretty well known in England where he works and lives. Our goal was to surprise him on the radio program. His co hosts are confident that it will mean a great deal to him, so there is no chance of him suing for libel. We all dearly admire him as many of his listeners to his show. This was evident they day it was announced that they wanted to make this page for him. I have requested help from a host on the teahouse page as well. Thanks again for your time. KatieCollins (talk) 17:17, 18 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

P.S. There were at least a dozen more mentions of him in other articles. However, they were repeats of what had already been said or they seemed too small to mention. KatieCollins (talk) 17:20, 18 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, KatieCollins. I'm a little busy right now, but if you've also asked for help at the Teahouse I'm sure you can get this sorted. I will take a look but my time over this weekend (until Tuesday night) is limited and so I can get to it but it will take a few days. I will, however, have a look and get back to you. LouiseS1979 (pigeonhole) 18:58, 18 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Katie.
I've got a little bit of time so I'm going to address this now. First up, have a read of the sourcing guidelines and if you have any queries, maybe take them to the reliable sources noticeboard (RSN) as two heads are better than one and I'm only one person commenting here. For instance, I don't know what the status of the British Daily Mirror is as a source: it's a tabloid newspaper, and although it could be said to have editorial policies, it isn't regarded highly as a quality paper, so I'd approach this source with caution (especially since it's labelled 'Opinion' and is a blog which reads like it's trying to sell cruises; he could be anyone showing you round that ship, rather than notability being conferred on him because of the article in the newspaper). You're also right to say that brief mentions of someone don't confer our sort of notability either.
My thoughts in no particular order:
  • First of all, I'm afraid a number of those sources can be eliminated straight off. Blogs don't count as reliable sources, since they are simply platforms for particular people and their opinions rather than carefully fact-checked works of journalism. (Some newsblogs might be OK, but only from major outlets such as the BBC - where they're extensions of the journalistic process rather than one person's assessment of the situation.)
  • Secondly, all the Cunard media and marketing sources are also out: they're promotional material, and as such aren't what we're looking for as sources. Additionally, I'd imagine cruise ship lines engage a lot of people as cruise directors, both notable and non-notable, and my assessment of that area would be that working on a cruise ship doesn't automatically confer notability on someone.
  • Passport might be OK. Again, check with RSN. The article is, however, promotional as regards Cunard's liners. As explained above, there's quite a number of people who make their living on cruise ships; they don't all get Wikipedia articles. To be notable they'd probably need to do something extraordinary. For instance, many cruise captains aren't notable, but the captain associated with the MV Sewol disaster is.
  • The West Berks Heart Support media would probably not be widely disseminated enough to count, and is probably promotional. Anything from a small organisation is probably more geared towards talking about the individual as a guest or patron rather than discussing their work or contribution to their field, which is what a Wikipedia article should be focused on.
  • Brief mentions likewise don't contribute notability. Remember, we're looking for discussion from independent sources on the contribution the person has made their field. We're not looking just to verify their CV. So, as you say, he co-authored a book. Is the book talked about anywhere? Reviewed in the national press? Is the person considered an expert on cruise ships or Cunard? That's the sort of thing we need to see as regards notability. I've written books myself - but they're not notable even as major contributions to their genre (fantasy literature). So I'm not notable just because I wrote a book - the books need to be discussed by others before I'm considered notable.
I fully appreciate what you're trying to do. The reason libel might have been mentioned is that anyone can add or subtract from the article, so we need to keep a tight rein on the biographies of living people and make sure everything can be verified. However, while you've provided these sources as verification, they don't add to up to the main criteria for having a Wikipedia article - the guy has done stuff, but he hasn't done the sort of stuff that would keep an article on Wikipedia stable and away from AFD.
I can honestly say that even if you wrote the article and put it up in the encyclopaedia, someone would have it taken down fairly quickly. Again, I reiterare, I know what you're trying to do and I'm trying to offer you some crumb of comfort, but there is simply nothing here that makes this guy notable independent of Cunard as a company. The sources are basically saying nothing that helps the case.
I'm really sorry. I know you've been through the mill recently, but if you want to put together a testimonial to the guy, then you could get space on a blog or something like that, put together something that won't be challenged, and present it to him as such. But Wikipedia cannot carry this without someone just nominating it straight for deletion. LouiseS1979 (pigeonhole) 17:51, 19 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Would you like to conduct a c/e on this article. I want it to be copy edited thoroughly before filing a GAN. Let me know if you are interested in doing so. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 09:42, 26 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Pavanjandhyala - I am interested in doing the copy-edit. Gives me something to relax with as I recover from a cold. LouiseS1979 (pigeonhole) 15:05, 26 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
The sequence which you have expressed a concern happens like this. After Surya is released from jail, he brings Chitra back to Bhardwaj's house. There Surya asks Bhardwaj to let him marry Chitra and assures that he would leave crime forever. Both Bhardwaj and Chitra refuse. Surya then says, "Alright. I shall then continue my business (crime) and will reach a position where you and your police cannot harm me at all. Then i shall marry Chitra by hook or crook, whether you both like it, or not." Surya's character lies between an antihero and a villain, inclining towards the latter. I hope you are clarified. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 15:36, 26 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
That makes sense, Pavanjandhyala. I'll summarise that explanation and add it in ASAP. LouiseS1979 (pigeonhole) 15:41, 26 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Businessman turns a GA! Pavanjandhyala (talk) 02:33, 28 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Would you like to conduct a thorough c/e on this article as i want it be c/ed before filing a GAN for the second time after i withdrew it. Let me know if you are interested. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 15:20, 3 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, Pavanjandhyala. Give me until after the weekend and I'll see what I can do (back at work and so time is fairly limited). LouiseS1979 (pigeonhole) 20:18, 3 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I hope you will begin the c/e process today Can you? Pavanjandhyala (talk) 12:34, 7 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, Pavanjandhyala. Yes - I have done the lead, but I was going to work on it today. I'll start right now. LouiseS1979 (pigeonhole) 13:11, 7 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Måns

[edit]

Please take a look at the article about Måns Zelmerlöw. I have done several edits to improve the article ahead of his likely Melodifestivalen winning next weekend. Any further improvements are appreciated. Cheers.--BabbaQ (talk) 17:24, 4 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi BabbaQ. I'll give it a look, but given my working schedules I think it will be Saturday before I can. But, absolutely I will. Is this OK? LouiseS1979 (pigeonhole) 07:42, 5 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@BabbaQ: - done the edit. Interesting article as usual! LouiseS1979 (pigeonhole) 10:50, 8 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Would you like to conduct a c/e on this article, as i want to file its GAN only after a thorough c/e. Let me know if you are interested. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 10:10, 8 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Pavanjandhyala - I'll give it a go. LouiseS1979 (pigeonhole) 10:40, 8 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Royal College

[edit]

Just to let you know that Royal College (Sri Lanka) - Panadura is a recreated copy of Panadura Royal College. It is part of a repeated effort by a banned editor, through the use of sock puppets, to create their own version of the article on the school. This is about the sixth or seventh version that they have attempted to create in the last five weeks. Dan arndt (talk) 06:09, 12 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Dan - thanks for letting me know. I just came across it as a new article and decided to try to make it viable. But I completely understand. LouiseS1979 (pigeonhole) 08:06, 12 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
